From JMS to U of TAt the age of 13, Fanta Diaby walked through the doors of Columbia International College with her older twin siblings, Sekou and Sira. In 2006, the family moved from their home country, Guinea, to Accra, Ghana and the children studied at Lincoln Community School (an American Middle/High School). They left Ghana in 2008 to continue their studies at Columbia International College. Upon their arrival in August 2008, Fanta joined the Junior Middle School while Sekou and Sira enrolled in the High School at Grade 11.
Pursuing a Dream at the Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD)MEN, WEN HAO (Mark) first came to Columbia International College with the intention of graduating then going to university to study in Finance or Economics. However while studying at Columbia Mark not only received high grades in his required courses for business (earning a 96% in Calculus, 95% in Data, and a 95% in Functions) he also gained the confidence to pursue his dream of studying fine art in Canada.

Columbia Student Accepts Offer & Scholarship from McGill UniversityAttending McGill University has always been one of KIRILL BONDARCHUK’s dreams, and this September he will begin living it.
Born in Vladivostok, Russia, Kirill was always considered one of the best and brightest students and attended his cities most prestigious school for gifted children. Having received an early offer letter from McGill’s Bachelor of Commerce program and consequently accepting their offer (as well as a $6,000.00 scholarship) Kirill will now be amongst the best and brightest young minds of a generation.

Cathy Cheeranjie
Mrs. Cheeranjie joined Columbia in 2000. She received a Bachelor in Science with a major in Psychology from Mount Allison University, Canada. She lived and taught in Japan before joining Columbia. She has worked in various positions and taught leadership classes at Columbia. Currently, she is the Director of Student Development. She loves music, theatre, camping, hiking, traveling and trying foods from all over the world.
