Over 70 clubs featured at Club Fair

With students now settled into their classroom schedules they can add a little fun into their daily routines as they begin to participate in their favourite clubs and extracurricular activities.

Yesterday, the Student Development department held a Club Information session in the Ainsliewood gym to introduce students to the clubs and activities offered at Columbia. Students browsed the booths of over 70 clubs featured and met activity advisors and fellow classmates with similar interests.

Featured clubs included:
• International Film Club
• Spanish Club
• Duke of Edinburgh
• Community Service
• Digital Culture Club
• Model UN
• Art Club
• Athletics in School and in Residence
… and many more!

Club Requirements
Club participation is an essential component of Columbia’s education system, especially for our younger students. Club requirements are as follows:

Age Number of Clubs
14 and under 4
15-16 2

Club sign up
Students can sign up for clubs offered at Ainsliewood today after school in the gym. Club sign up for activities at Pine Hall Boys and Girls will take place between 7-8pm tonight at each residence.

Students will be allowed to sign up for clubs that are not yet full on Friday, August 28 from 9am-5pm in the Student Development Office, room S244.

Clubs begin on Monday, August 31. Students should check with club leaders to confirm club times and locations.
