We are thrilled to welcome both new and returning students to the Elite Pathway Partnership (EPP) Program!
Last Friday, our incoming Grade 11 students received their official welcome letters, while the Grade 12 students, now stepping into their second year of the EPP Program, proudly accepted certificates for completing leadership training at the University of Toronto this summer.
Program Supervisor Chris Vander Deen unveiled the essential activities designed to equip our students for the rigorous demands of gaining entry to the world’s top universities.
CIC Founder and CEO Clement Chan, together with Principal Diana Reid, shared powerful insights, highlighting that while academic excellence is vital, positive character, leadership, and soft skills are equally crucial for shaping a bright future.
The welcome meeting concluded with a delicious welcome dinner prepared by @diningatcic, where students had a blast making new connections and engaging with Total Care Team leaders.

Why Choose EPP Program?
Students who demonstrate the most exceptional performance are eligible to apply for the Elite Pathway Partnership (EPP) Program with the University of Toronto in their Grade 11 and 12.
The two-year Program is designed to comprehensively prepare students for the rigorous requirements for entry to the world’s best universities.
This program offers academic, leadership, and extracurricular opportunities beyond the “Go Higher” program, and far beyond regular high school.
Ken Withers, Director of Student Recruitment, the University of Toronto, speaks highly of the EPP Program: “CIC’s Elite Pathway Partnership Program – entirely unique in Canada and the only officially recognized partnership program in Canada by the University of Toronto – is designed to comprehensively prepare students for the rigorous requirements for entry to the world’s best universities.”
