Selinam:
“My CIC experience has been a remarkable journey of growth, achievements, and cherished memories. My friends became my second family, always there to make me laugh and support me through my time at CIC. These friendships that I’ve formed have been a highlight, bringing joy and support to every moment at CIC.
My motivation comes from several sources. Firstly, my family has been my biggest support system. With three older siblings in Canada and my parents’ unwavering support, I’ve always felt encouraged to strive for excellence. My responsibility as a Service Prefect and Resident Student Leader has also pushed me to overcome challenges and stay focused on my goals.
One of my most memorable experiences at CIC was prom. It was an unforgettable night filled with laughter, dancing, and celebrating with friends, marking a special milestone in our high school experience. It allowed us to create lasting memories together. The sense of community and joy at prom perfectly encapsulated my time at CIC.
My advice for future CIC students is to build strong friendships for support and encouragement and get involved in leadership roles to grow and make a positive impact. Don’t hesitate to seek support from family, friends, and teachers. Their encouragement can make a big difference during challenging times. While it’s important to focus on academics, make sure to also take time for yourself and enjoy the journey. A balanced life leads to overall well-being and success. Make sure to engage in community service and volunteer to support others. Don’t forget to work hard!”
