The excitement was in the air as CIC welcomed students back for the August 2026 Fall Semester! A lively BBQ, furry farmyard visitors, a refreshed Student Handbook and a delicious cake-cutting celebration made for a memorable start to a new chapter.
BBQ, Games & Furry Friends: A Welcome Celebration at Pine Residence
Pine Residence was buzzing with excitement as students gathered for a welcome BBQ featuring delicious food, friendly competitions, music and laughter.
It was a great opportunity for newcomers to meet fellow students and returning students to catch up with friends.
But the biggest surprise of the afternoon? A mini pet farm! The adorable goats and rabbits quickly became the stars of the show, attracting curious visitors and bringing plenty of smiles. Interacting with these furry guests made the welcome celebration even more memorable.
It was a wonderful way to reconnect, make new friends and kick off the semester with positive energy!
A big thank-you to Chartwells team for the delicious meal and making the occasion extra special!
Ready for Success: Introducing the Updated CIC Student Handbook
A new school year also means new goals and fresh opportunities. To help students start on the right foot, CIC introduced its updated Student Handbook under the theme “Your Roadmap to Success.”
The handbook brings together essential information about school expectations, everyday responsibilities, policies and student support services, helping students navigate life at CIC with confidence.
More than just a reference guide, it encourages students to take responsibility for their learning, make informed decisions and become more independent.
Students can log in to EzReport to access the handbook and refer to it throughout the semester.
Let the Celebrations Begin: A Sweet Start to the Semester!
What’s a celebration without cake?
The festivities wouldn’t be complete without a cake-cutting ceremony! Students and staff gathered to share the excitement, enjoy a sweet treat and celebrate the beginning of another chapter at CIC.
New Semester, New Goals, New Possibilities!
At CIC, every new semester brings more than a fresh set of classes. It’s an opportunity to build friendships, discover new interests, develop independence and take another step towards personal and academic goals.
Whether welcoming new students or reuniting with familiar faces, the CIC community is ready for another semester of learning, growing and making memories together.
