Building Global Leaders Through Inclusiveness, Teamwork, and Confidence at CIC
Our Model United Nations team had an unforgettable experience at the University of Toronto@Model United Nations @utmun 2026.

The delegates stepped into committees ranging from UNESCO, the Global Economic and Labour Development Assembly, the International Monetary Fund, and the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (and many more!).

A special congratulations goes to our Head Delegate, Chantal Kasekende, for earning the Best Delegate Award in the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) committee while representing Ukraine. We are incredibly proud that her achievement has qualified her for Harvard Model UN (Toronto) this May.

This year’s delegation demonstrated remarkable teamwork as they tackled issues such as sustainable development, gender equality, global economic cooperation, and emerging cyber threats.

This performance wouldn’t be possible without CIC’s engaging weekly MUN meetings, where we intentionally equip students with the interpersonal skills, teamwork abilities, and confidence they need to excel.

Through guided practice debates, collaborative research, and leadership‑building activities, our delegates develop the readiness to step into conferences prepared, self‑assured, and eager to contribute on a global stage.
Well done, CIC MUN team! Your growth and leadership shine brightly.
