CIC has proudly partnered with Chartwells, Canada’s leading campus dining provider. 

At CIC, we believe students learn best when they’re well nourished. That’s why every meal is designed to fuel focus, support well-being, and feel comforting—just like home. 

Our Executive Chef and professional food services team prepare 80+ fresh options daily, from soups, entrées with sides, salad bar, and desserts. Each menu is crafted to support a healthy lifestyle while respecting diverse tastes and dietary needs. Based on the Canadian food guide.

What’s on the Menu?

Whether students prefer familiar comfort foods or enjoy discovering new flavors, there’s always something satisfying and nourishing waiting for them. 

  • Freshly prepared beef, pork, chicken, and seafood 
  • Whole grains including rice, oats, and whole wheat 
  • A full salad bar with fresh vegetables, toppings, and dressings 
  • Seasonal fresh fruits
  • Fresh and pasteurized eggs, regular and low-fat dairy (milk, yogurt, cheese) 
  • Trans-fat-free cooking oils 
  • Natural sweeteners such as honey and brown sugar 
  • Global spices and seasonings for culturally inspired dishes 
  • “Grandmother’s recipes” submited by students

In close collaboration with Chartwells, and formalized food committee, our team ensures students can eat safely, confidently, and comfortably, regardless of dietary requirements. 

We Support:

  • Halal meals 
  • Vegetarian and vegan options 
  • Gluten-free and lactose-free diets 
  • Medical-related diets, including diabetic-friendly meals 

For students with allergies or special restrictions, we work closely with families, healthcare providers, on-site nurses, and our Executive Chef to provide safe alternatives. CIC’s dining program is all-you-care-to-eat, giving students the freedom to enjoy balanced meals whenever they need them—without limits or counting costs. 

Because meals are accessed through a Student ID card, parents never have to worry about their child running out of money as the semester progresses. Every meal is already taken care of, from the first day to the last. 

From the first day to the last, your child always has access to nutritious meals.  It’s one less thing to manage—and one more way we help families feel reassured.

CIC cafeterias are open 365 days a year, including weekends and holidays. Students never have to worry about where or how they’ll get their next meal.
