Students celebrate Spirit Week

The week Columbia students have been eagerly anticipating is finally here; it’s Spirit Week at Columbia!

Throughout the week, students will participate in morning activities with their homeroom classes in the Ainsliewood Gym. Classes will take part in activities and challenges designed to encourage school spirit and foster values of teamwork, inclusiveness, and respect. Winning homerooms will also receive a prize!

Theme Days Spirit Week would not be complete without featured theme days. This semester, students can trade their uniforms for pyjamas, cultural pieces and wacky outfits; • Monday, October 6: Pyjama Day • Tuesday, October 7: Cultural Day • Wednesday, October 8: Wacky Day

Students will also have the opportunity to show their school pride onThursday, October 9 when the Varsity Boys Soccer team host members of the Hamilton Police in a friendly match.
