Empty stomachs, full hearts! On April 5 and 6, 160 students at Columbia International College joined forces for the World Vision 30-Hour Famine, raising over CAD 5,000 and the awareness to combat poverty and world hunger.

During the famine event, the students fasted for 30 hours and engaged in shelter building, games and various activities to ward off the hunger. The Service Prefects played a key role in organizing this event and showcased incredible leadership and teamwork skills.

Our heartfelt appreciation to each and every one of you who participated in the 30 Hour Famine. Together, we can make a difference and create a world where no one goes to bed hungry.
