Covid-19-updates (Oct 1 to 8, 2020)

The City of Hamilton is NOT one of the hotspots for COVID-19 in the province of Ontario.

With COVID-19 cases rising overall, Ontario Premier Ford announced stricter rules specifically for Toronto, Ottawa and Peel on Friday (Oct 9) following several days of high numbers of new cases in the regions.

As we approach the Thanksgiving Holiday and cases have been increasing, the Public Healthy Authorities’ recommended the community to keep the celebration “local” and with people that live in the same household. The graph below shows the average of new cases from October 1st to 8th.
