Columbia International College recently held its Winter semester leadership selection session, bringing together students eager to take on key roles within the school community.

The session proved to be a resounding success, highlighting the depth of talent, collaboration, and leadership potential among CIC students.

To identify the strongest candidates for the Student Council, Service Prefects, and Athletic Council, students participated in a dynamic selection process focused on group interaction, communication, and strategic problem-solving.

Working in teams, candidates demonstrated their ability to think critically, collaborate effectively, and perform under pressure.

Each leadership group plays a vital role in enriching student life at CIC.

The Student Council leads the planning and execution of major events such as prom and Winter Ball, managing everything from logistics and budgeting to promotion.

The Service Prefects are known for their energy and compassion, organizing activities that give back to peers, the school, and the broader community.

Meanwhile, the Athletic Council promotes school spirit and well-being through the organization of sports programming, while modeling leadership, responsibility, and respect.

Throughout the session, candidates impressed staff with their professionalism, enthusiasm, and commitment.

Their performance reflected not only strong individual capabilities, but also a shared dedication to contributing positively to the CIC community.

CIC looks forward to seeing these emerging leaders bring fresh ideas, energy, and impact to the upcoming semester—helping create an engaging and vibrant experience for all students.
