LIT logoColumbia’s, Leaders-in-Training (LIT) summer program is back!

After its popular and successful inaugural year, the LIT program continues this summer with students eager to develop their leadership skills.

Organized by members of Student Development, the LIT program aims to “develop leaders of good character through training and practical experience by volunteering with Columbia’s Summer Camp.”

In assisting Summer Camp staff with orientation and training and daily activities, LIT participants will develop essential life skills in leadership (conflict resolution, decision making, problem solving etc.) and personal and career development, among others.

Upon completion of the program LIT’s will travel to Bark Lake Leadership Centre and Eastern Canada and will receive individual evaluations.

For more information The LIT program currently runs throughout July and is open to high school students. Contact a member of Student Development or e-mail columbia@cic-TotalCare.com using LIT Program in the subject line to learn more.
