This past weekend the 20 members of the Model United Nations Team travelled to Montreal to participate in the Secondary School United Nations Symposium.  This conference was hosted by the globally ranked McGill Model United Nations Team.  There were schools from all over North and Central America and the majority of the schools were ranked as the best Model United Nations Teams in North America.  The competition was very high, but the CIC students stepped into the committees sessions and participated as much or more than many of the other schools.

This was the first time Columbia International College attended this conference.  The CIC students were great representatives of CIC and further developed many skills throughout this conference.  Columbia International College is very proud of these students stepping out of their comfort zone and becoming better global citizens.

Congratulations to the students for their incredible work and success at the conference!
