The Elite Pathway didn’t just build my skills – it taught me how to break through my own limits.

Leadership roles build confidence and skills like teamwork, problem-solving, and communication – lessons that last well beyond high school.

Being a Service Prefects member at CIC gives me a chance to develop my leadership skills while contributing to something meaningful, which motivates me everyday.

The growth I experienced at CIC is what’s pushing me to chase something bigger.

To make sure students have fun while giving back. Sometimes, community service can feel like a chore, but I want everyone to see how enjoyable and meaningful it can be.

Being accepted and recognized by people I deeply respect – teachers, and the staff. These individuals are role models for every student at CIC. They carry many responsibilities, and because of them, the school runs smoothly.

Joining the Elite Pathway Program has been a transformative experience that has given me the opportunity to try new things, such as volunteering in the Galapagos. This experience not only broadened my perspective but have also given me the chance to learn more about myself.

Residence at CIC gave me a lot to take with me for future reference. I learnt about independence where no one is pushing you to go eat or sleep or a very fixed schedule. There is no regiment, it’s just me and my decisions.

CIC offers a lot of sports intramurals where we have fun and compete. I met many new friends and great teammates during these events, who led me to championships.

Spending four years here has shaped me more than I could ever describe. I came in not really knowing what to expect, but being at CIC taught me how to be independent, focused, and resilient.

Kira actively contributed as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, serving as a Character Education Prefect. She made outstanding contributions to community service and school spirit, playing a key role in initiatives such as the 30 Hour Famine, the University Fair, and various community projects.

Joining HOSA – one of the academic clubs at CIC – gave me an outlet to explore illnesses and health research with like-minded peers. It also connected me with professionals who are making a real impact in these fields.

Living in residence at CIC is very convenient-everything from dining to study spaces and transportation is provided, which saves us time and helps us focus on what really matters.

CIC didn’t just prepare me for university. It helped me understand how to lead with empathy, listen with intention, and represent every student’s voice with integrity.

Through CIC’s encouragement and heartfelt praise, my daughter gained confidence, motivation, and developed strong values at a critical stage of her life.

CIC shaped my daughter’s success at U of T. Watching her grow into a strong, compassionate, and determined young woman has been one of the greatest privileges of my life.

Thanks to the Total Care community at CIC, my daughter was able to feel safe and call CIC her second home. Studying at CIC was an excellent experience and has prepared her for future success at university.

I look forward to coming to work each day because of the students I have the privilege to teach. While teachers aim to inspire their students, I am continually inspired by my students’ perseverance, positivity, and kindness.

I’m truly grateful to my parents for choosing CIC, because the Total Care Learning System has had a meaningful impact on both my academic and personal development.
