It’s Spirit Week at Columbia! Students will have endless opportunities to show their school spirit by participating in activities, theme days and events all week long. Columbia would like to congratulate Principal, Ron Rambarran, on being awarded the 2015 Civilian of the Year award from Crime Stoppers International. After undergoing much anticipated renovations, the Oak Hall dining hall reopened its door on Saturday, September 26th. The updated facility now includes an expanded seating area with modern and comfortable booths and high-top seating. We hope students enjoy redesigned student friendly designed space. (more…)

Next week Columbia students will be taking part in the school’s annual Terry Fox Walk-a-thon. On September 30th, students will walk from Hamilton’s Pier 4 to the Ainsliewood building to honour Terry and to raise funds for cancer research. In participating, students learn about Terry Fox and his journey,  and gain a better understanding of the importance of helping others…

Earlier this week, Columbia welcomed its newest ESL students to our school and to Hamilton by holding information sessions during Transition Day.
