Winter Food Drive: Building Character Through Service
Giving back and making a positive difference in the world is an essential part of this vacation.
Our students collected and delivered 248 lbs of non-perishable goods to Neighbor 2 Neighbor, a multi-service organization leading poverty prevention in Hamilton.
With the guidance of the Student Leadership Development Office, CIC students are not only contributing to meaningful causes, but also strengthening their character and deepening their understanding of service and social responsibility.
Thank you to the community near Pine Residences for generously providing these much-needed items!
The SPCA Dog Ambassador Visit
Our favourite winter visitor stopped by!
The SPCA Dog Ambassador brought wagging tails, warm cuddles, and endless smiles to CIC during winter vacation.
Thank you to SPCA and the CIC Wellness and Student Leadership Development Office for bringing paws-itivity to chilly winter days!
A Heartwarming Visit with the Sisters
A visit that feels like home – bridging generations through stories and shared moments. We’ve formed a meaningful friendship with the Sisters of the Precious Blood, visiting several times each year to spend time together.
Our students love sharing their talents – singing, dancing, piano, and more, while we play games, exchange stories, and simply enjoy each other’s company.
Through these moments, stories are shared on both sides: the Sisters reflect on their life journeys, and our students share who they are and what brought them to CIC. No matter our backgrounds, we always find ways to connect.
These visits remind us that belonging knows no borders.
Winter Flavours and Friendship
Led by the Student Leadership Development Office, winter break was the perfect time for students to relax and reconnect.

Meals at Spring Grillhouse and August 8 Sushi provided more than just a great meal; they were a chance for friends to bond and share laughs over delicious food.

These social moments are at the heart of the CIC experience, helping students build lasting friendships and a strong sense of community.
What A Magical Night!
Our students had an unforgettable time with the incredible Magician Ken and the super-talented Balloon Twister Barb!
From jaw-dropping tricks to the most creative balloon creations, the room was filled with nonstop laughter, wide-eyed wonder, and pure joy.
A night to remember… and one we can’t wait to relive!
Homemade Cookies Spreading Joy
A group of students spent a sweet afternoon baking homemade cookies and sharing them with the hardworking staff at Ainsliewood
Moments like these remind us that the holiday season is about caring for others, sharing kindness, and spreading happiness to those around us
