Osgoode Hall Law School: Canada's largest and oldest common-law law school
Established in 1889, the Osgoode Hall Law School was the only accredited law school in Ontario until 1957. In 2011, MacLeans ranked Osgoode as the second best law Common Law school in Canada. It is especially known for its leading role in the areas of constitutional law, the Charter of Rights, human rights, and international law. Osgoode Hall Law School was the first law school to establish a combined law and business degree and has the largest law library in the Commonwealth.
Canada's Only Space Engineering Program
York University offers a unique Space Engineering program, the only one of its kind in Canada. Accredited by the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB), the Space Engineering program gives students hands-on training in leading space technologies including an opportunity to track spacecraft at the Algonquin Radio Observatory.
