Columbia and York University expand partnership

Columbia International College is pleased to announce that is has expanded the conditions of its University Partners® agreement with York University. In addition to the existing four designated entrance scholarships ($2000 each) and priority attention from York’s International Admissions Officers, Columbia students will be offered three added unmatched entrance conditions:

1. IELTS/TOFEL waived for students with:
• 80% or above in ENG4U
• 75% or above in ENG3U &ENG4U

2. Guaranteed admission for students with:
• 80% in 6 Gr. 12 courses

3. Designated Scholarships for students with:
• 95% or higher ($5000 each)
• 90-94.99% ($2500 each)
• These scholarships can be combined with the existing designated entrance scholarships of $2000 each

Mr. Clement Chan, Executive Director, Columbia International College, and Dr. Martin Singer, Dean, Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies, York University, signed the new agreement last week. Columbia is now the only school in Canada to offer such entrance conditions for international students wishing to study at York University.
