Thanks to the joint effort of all of our CIC staff and students, to date, we have had no confirmed COVID-19 cases on our CIC campus.
On October 22, 2021, the Ontario government released A Plan to Safely Reopen Ontario and Manage COVID-19 for the Long Term. The re-opening plan targets lifting all restrictions by March of 2022.

In response to Ontario’s continued improved COVID-19 outlook, CIC is also considering gradually easing restrictions on:
- Unsupervised student outings within the community
- Access to public transportation for commuting between Residence and School
We have been keeping our students in a “SAFETY BUBBLE” IN THE RESIDENCE AND SCHOOL since the start of the Pandemic. With the re-opening plan from the Ontario Government, we have to re-examine the preservation of CIC’s SAFETY BUBBLE CONCEPT FOR OUR COMMUNITY. Since our students come from different countries which experience various different levels of severity with COVID-19, we would like to survey the different perspectives, thoughts and feelings of every student and parent.
