23 Canadian Universities & Colleges Gather at CIC for 2024 University Fair

On February 15th, Columbia International College hosted the 2024 University Fair, welcoming admissions officers from over 20 public universities and colleges across Canada!

Hundreds of students passionately engaged in discussions with visiting reps one on one, gathering first-hand information on programs, campus life, residence, internships, scholarships, job prospects and much more.

The University Fair is  one of the largest postsecondary educational fairs in North America. Being Canada’s largest boarding school with the highest number of graduates admitted to universities each year, CIC is proud to be selected as one of its venues. This recognition speaks volumes about the remarkable achievements of our graduates.

20+ Universities and Colleges Across Canada Gather at CIC

The University Fair was split into two segments: in the morning, all universities gathered in the gym to meet with students collectively; in the afternoon, each university hosted individual presentations.

The participating institutions in the University Fair include (in alphabetical order):

University of Alberta, Brock University, Carleton University, Dalhousie University, University of Guelph, Lakehead University, Laurentian University, McMaster University, Mohawk College, University of New Brunswick, Ontario College of Art and Design University, University of Ottawa, Queen’s University, Sheridan College, University of Toronto, University of Toronto Mississauga, Trent University, Ontario Tech University, University of Waterloo, Western University, Wilfrid Laurier University, University of Windsor, and York University.

CIC Boasts the Largest University Partners Program in Canada

CIC has established partnership with nine prestigious universities, forming the largest “University Partners” program among Canadian high schools. Our Partner Universities include:

University of Toronto, University of Waterloo, McMaster University, Western University, Brock University, University of Ottawa, Ontario Tech University, York University’s Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies, and Mount Allison University.

For the past decade, the number of CIC students admitted to the University of Toronto, University of Waterloo, and McMaster University exceeds that of any other high school globally.
