The Canadian Government recently announced new restrictions for international travelers arriving in Canada. A mandatory quarantine on a Government approved and monitored hotel for about 3 days, while waiting for COVID-19 test results will also soon be required for non-essential travelers arriving in Canada. The estimated cost for the 3-day period is about CAD$ 2,000.

CIC will continue requiring a 21-day quarantine upon arrival to CIC’s dedicated quarantine  Residence, Linden Hall. Contact Admissions & Liaison to inform of any change of travel plans, necessary documents like quarantine plan, and Letter to be presented upon entering Canada.

The government has also announced its grounding flights to and from Mexico and Caribbean destinations until April 30, 2021.
