On September 26th, 2019 Columbia International College (CIC) students raised $13,000 for the Terry Fox Foundation.  CIC students participated in the Terry Fox Run at Bayfront Park in Hamilton.

Terry Fox (July 28, 1958 – June 28, 1981) was a Canadian athlete, humanitarian and a cancer research activist.   Today, the Terry Fox Foundation continues to raise awareness and funds to find a cure for all cancers.  The Terry Fox School Run helps to ensure that research teams are able to explore innovative approaches to cure cancer.  For over 30 years, the Terry Fox Foundation upholds Terry’s ideals and values in working to achieve Terry’s vision – a world without cancer.
