The 2015 Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) is quickly approaching! Scheduled for March 26, the test will measure students’ reading and writing skills. Columbia has already begun preparing students as teachers and tutors are working to ensure they earn a successful grade. Columbia International College is an officially certified external testing centre for a number of English proficiency tests. Columbia students wishing to write an English proficiency test can do so without having to leave campus. Test sessions occur throughout the year with each session accommodating 50-100 students. Last night, Columbia International College had the privilege of hosting the Hamilton Crime Stoppers Evening of Appreciation ceremony. The University Placement Office (UPO) at Columbia is committed to helping students achieve and maximize their post-secondary opportunities. Information sessions, workshops and individual counselling sessions are among the ways students are supported in their university application process.
