JMS recreate Aesop’s Fables

On Wednesday, June 10th, Columbia’s Junior Middle School (JMS) students starred in their own production of Aesop’s Fables as their year-end drama project. Columbia recognized for its business contributions in the City of Hamilton

Columbia International College was recently recognized for its business contributions to the City of Hamilton. Yesterday, Executive Director, Mr. Clement Chan, accepted a Business Appreciation Award on behalf of the school during a City Council meeting last night at Hamilton’s City Hall. Columbia was recognized in the Large Business Category for Ward 8 and was presented with a plaque by Mayor Fred Eisenberger and Councillor Terry Whitehead. (more…)

Summer literacy courses

The 2015 Ontario Secondary School Literacy course (OLC40) will begin this week at Columbia. The course is designed for those students who were unsuccessful in writing the OSSLT in March. Students who pass the course will meet the provincial literacy requirement and will be eligible to graduate. (more…)
